All About Harry…& M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E.

I’m not going to give anything away. Don’t worry. But you should probably know that if you’re as much of a Harry Potter freak as I am, you will be phenomenally surprised by this latest movie. It’s so on par with the books that I was dumbfounded. As much as it pains me to say this, I might have liked this movie as much as I love the book. If they let me down with a shitty part 2 to book 7, I will throw a fit…but judging by how incredible this movie was, my hopes are set quite high and I’m confident that the HP crew will follow through. Can’t wait for July 15th!
London, overall, was awesome. Emily and I stayed in one of the creepiest hostels ever, but whatever. I got pseudo-caught in the middle of a brawl around 4am when I had to pee. People were hooking up in our room, I might have bed bugs (I’m only saying that because I have three dots in a row on my wrist…but no new bites have appeared…cross your fingers!), and there were scary security guards. Other than that, though, we had a great time. SO much Chipotle and I swear, every time it got better. Friday night we found a Lebanese restaurant in Soho and had the most incredible kebabs and hummus…after we downed a bowl of olives at some bar we went to after seeing Harry. We culminated our time in London by waking up at 3:30 to catch our 6:40 and 7:10 flights… I was flying out of Heathrow and Em out of Gatwick, so we had to take separate buses from Euston Station, to separate train stations, to separate airports, to separate destinations. It was a crazy morning, and she doesn’t have a phone so I didn’t really know if she had made it home until way later. I was home by 10 and didn’t wake up until 5:30. It was glorious.
This past week has gone by so fast. All I’ve really done is go to class and watch Weeds. I’m catching up. Season 5 is bomb.
Now I’m going to Disneyland Paris for Thanksgiving weekend! It kills me that I’m missing my faaavorite holiday in the world, but I’ll probably just ask Sus to make me my very own Thanksgiving dinner when I get to Florida. To everybody at home: HAPPY THANKSGIVING! And I hope you’re all enjoying Susie’s amazing turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, stuffing with chorizo, and arroz con gandules. I am indescribably jealous. BUT I’m so excited to go spend the weekend with my favorite mouse! Christmas decorations are up in Disney, and I can’t remember the last time I got to see happiest place on Earth decked out in Christmas décor, so I know I’m in for a great surprise.
Just over three weeks until I’m stateside again…so weird.
Okay, that’s all. Fin. Au revoir!
